Directions from the motorway

  • motorway A 7; exit Göttingen Nord (72);
  • Motorway feeder road to the end; continue straight on to the junction where you turn left towards Nikolausberg;
  • continue until the second junction turn left and then immediately left again;
  • after approx. 200 metres you will find the GWDG on the right-hand side

car park

  • The car park is located in Otto-Hahn-Straße.
  • The car park opposite the GWDG may also be open for events.
  • Please note: The car park of the Veterinary Institute may not be used.

Travelling by public transportation

  • By bus from Göttingen main station to GWDG: From bus platform D, take line 23 or 21 to bus stop “Burckhardtweg”, then walk a few meters down the street.

  • Return to Göttingen main station: From the “Burckhardtweg” bus stop, take line 23 or 21 to bus stop “Bahnhof”, or line 22 to bus stop “Platz der Göttinger Sieben” and walk on the right-hand side for approx. 5 minutes to the main railway station. Line 21 goes to the city center.
